Goal
Be the last player with a player marble still in play.
Setup
Place your boat on an ocean corner.
Boat positions vary with the number of players.
Each player starts with 5 player marbles in their inventory.
Place your exalted marble under your protection dome.
The player who rolls the highest result starts.
Play then continues to the left, one player at a time.
On your turn
Roll two dice, take the higher as your move count.
That result is your number of moves.
Take your moves in any order you choose.
If you roll doubles, you play again.
Elimination
A player with no player marble left in play is eliminated.
Victory
Be the last player with a player marble still in play.
Moves
Add a player marble
Place a player marble on your boat; if another is already there, it is pushed into the ocean and eliminated.
Move
Advance one space at a time.
You may cross the same space more than once during your turn.
You can jump from your boat onto land, and from land onto your boat.
You can have as many player marbles in play as you want and move them separately.
Build terrain
Build a terrain tile around your player marble.
A stack can reach 3 tiles high.
To build a new level, all 6 neighboring spaces must be occupied.
Keep an ocean border around the board so boats can sail.
Never trap a boat: it must always have a path of water to the edge of the board.
Push another player
Push an opposing player marble one space, in the direction you are moving.
Each player marble in play can push the same opposing marble only once per turn.
You cannot push a player marble that is on a boat or on a reactor.
A player marble pushed into the ocean is eliminated.
Place your reactor
Place your reactor on a 2-tile stack.
Choose its spot carefully: once built, your reactor cannot be moved.
Generate uranium
If either die shows 1, you must place a uranium marble on your reactor.
The other die is your number of moves.
Collect uranium
Walk onto a uranium marble on your reactor to collect it into your inventory.
Ending your turn on a reactor is an overheat: you lose a player marble.
Exalt your player marble
When you have 3 uranium marbles, exchange a player marble for your exalted marble.
Then remove the 3 uranium marbles from your inventory.
Your exalted marble now counts as a player marble.
It cannot be pushed, and it is immune to reactor overheat.
If your exalted marble ends a move on your reactor, it stays there and automatically launches next turn.
Crush a player
If your exalted marble is on your reactor when you roll the dice, it must jump from the reactor.
From your reactor, you can crush.
Choose one of your two dice: its result is the maximum distance of your jump.
Crush an opposing player marble to eliminate it immediately.
After your jump lands, your exalted marble returns to its normal form.
If it lands in the ocean, return it to your inventory.
Do not replace it with a player marble.
If you land on a terrain tile, it is destroyed and removed from the game.
If your exalted marble lands on a protection dome, the dome is destroyed.
If you hit a boat, it becomes sunk: flip it so the hull sits in the ocean hole, bow up.
Unsink your ship
If your boat is sunk, unsink it.
Use a protection dome
Under a protection dome, your player marble cannot be crushed or pushed.
Costs 1 uranium marble per turn.
